Monthy Meeting

YEAH! Last night was my guild's monthly meeting. I look forward to it each month, so I try never to miss. And of course am disappointed when I don't get my monthly dose of fabric fellowship. Show 'n' Tell is my favorite, but my own SNT is still a looong way off but that's okay. I signed up for retreat in November and will have a GREAT shot in the arm from that.

In the mean time my parents are visiting and my mom is just as crazy about quilting as I am. So I *know* that the two of us will certainly get into "trouble" these next couple of months....

....meanwhile, I've been watch a fairy ring grow in my lawn.... I love it!

I have managed to catch a couple of minutes here and there in the morning to sew a bit on a couple of pillows I am making for the conference room at work. I volunteered, I felt compelled to gift these to the department. If they are not appreciated, I will take them back, but I feel and hope that they will be enjoyed.

The evenings are too hard lately to find motivation to sew, my allergies have taken their tole this week.

Its Saturday, I've just finished all my "chores" (mowed lawn, watered, vacuumed, laundry, fed and showered) Now, I need to go sew! But, I have a couple of errands nagging at me, but....

or Sunday, it is good to sew tomorrow too.

I haven't gone into my sewing room more than a couple of times in the last two weeks, and that was to trim up a photo for a picture frame and iron some clothes for work. I miss my vacations there.

But! on the other hand I did get my home office up to snuff with some new furniture and clean carpets. It looks and feels great in here.
